Hi, everyone. I'm Ren, and thanks to Fox and her enabling, this is my initial plunge into RPing on Dreamwidth instead of Livejournal.

I'll be joining up with Wilykit here from the original '80s version of Thundercats. Like Fox with Skyward Sword!Link, I'm going to hold off on introducing her in-game until after the week change officially takes place.

Sorry if I disappointed those of you who were hoping for someone from the new series. I love it too, but nostalgia and the fact that I already had '80s!Kit as an existing muse won out. Well, that, and the potential brainbreak that would result from her meeting one of her castmates' 2011 counterparts... :3

Unfortunately I didn't watch the 80s cartoon as a kid, but I've been enjoying the reboot so, yay?

Ha ha, that's okay. Even with my rose-colored nostalgia glasses, I have to admit that the '80s cartoon definitely had its fair share of cheesiness and flaws, especially compared to the reboot.

Don't worry, I do that at least once a day while doing tags for him (it's hard not to go HUUUUGGGHHHEEESSS ;_;) XDb He's kinda become the SoL's dad so I'm sure he'll wind up talking to Kit eventually.

Technically, so was I. I was exposed to it via reruns on Toonami, and even then, they were calling it "old school." XD

Y'know, I'm old enough to remember when Thundercats was on TV, but I didn't watch it much myself when I was little. (Oh, god, am I aging myself, here?) Still haven't seen the reboot yet, tho'.
